Can I delete my account?

Active investments: You cannot delete your account while you have active investments. Wait until all projects exit and returns are received.
Complete KYC: Ensure you've completed KYC and received all pending returns before requesting deletion.
How to request: Email support@uown.co or privacy@uown.co asking for account deletion.
Legal requirements: Some data must be retained for legal/tax purposes (typically 5-7 years) even after deletion.
What's deleted: Personal profile, preferences, and marketing data are removed immediately.
What's retained: Transaction history and tax-related records are archived securely.
Irreversible: Once deleted, you'll need to create a new account and re-verify to invest again.
Alternative: Consider just opting out of marketing rather than full deletion if you might return.
